The hair is usually the first to go.

Over the years, I’ve cut my hair after breakups, job losses, and sometimes during pregnancy. But, never have I ever shaved my head bald. What makes this time different is that I was completely SANE when I decided to do this.

But why???????

Well, simply put, I’m a very curious person and I try new things all the time. I’m a true risk-taker, and I wanted to see how successful I would be at growing my hair out. So, I started a hair growth journey.

To date, my hair has grown a total of 7.5 inches in one year. Here’s how I did it.

The Problem

I have fine hair, and it’s thin. It’s very much hereditary. So, I’ve always kept my hair short and done. But I wanted to know if my hair could actually grow longer than my chin. At the time, I was relaxed, and my hair was VERY damaged. This prompted me to start fresh from the scalp.
