I’ve been a writer for almost as long as I’ve been in the hair and beauty industry, and I’ve worked with a lot of your favorite influencers. One of my first clients is a nonprofit organization, Boss Summit, which helps Black and Brown women find resources and mentorship in entrepreneurship. Every year, we host a women’s business retreat, and speakers from a variety of industries come out to network with the attendees and teach.

This year, I will be teaching a session on AI, and I’m providing glam sessions for the attendees. I can’t wait to share content with you all!

The next few issues are dedicated to the intersection of beauty and power. We’ll take a look at how women’s retreats are rewriting what self-care looks like, and how I bring my own beauty rituals into spaces designed for leadership.
